Affiliate Disclaimer

SaveAPaw is reader-supported. When you buy something through a link on this site, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Here’s the plain-language version of what that means and how it works.

How Affiliate Links Work

Some of the products we mention, whether it’s a grooming brush, a training tool, or a piece of gear we’ve used with our own dogs, are linked to retailer sites through affiliate partnerships, including the Amazon Associates Program. Amazon Associates is an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

If you click one of those links and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small commission. The price you pay stays exactly the same either way. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and in most cases you won’t even notice a difference in the checkout process.

This Never Changes What We Recommend

We’re two dog owners first and a website second. Nothing on SaveAPaw gets written, ranked, or recommended because of a commission. If a product isn’t good, we’re not going to tell you it is just because it happens to have an affiliate link attached. Our recommendations come from our own experience with our dogs, from research, and from what other dog owners tell us actually works.

We also link to plenty of things, articles, shelters, resources, that have no financial relationship with us at all, because pointing you toward good information matters more to us than a commission ever will.

Advertising

SaveAPaw also displays advertising through third-party ad networks. These ads may use cookies and similar technologies to show you content and ads based on your interests. You can find more detail on how that data is handled in our Privacy Policy.

Questions

If you have questions about a specific link or how our affiliate relationships work, feel free to reach out through our contact page. We’re happy to explain anything in more detail.
